7 Wally’s Walk (7WW), Room 149

Last December, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Arts ran an exciting workshop introducing Team Based Learning (TBL) to Macquarie University. Well, we’re back!

If you missed out on our last event, this is your chance to get up to speed with Team Based Learning – an active teaching and learning method that puts its own spin on the flipped classroom approach.

And if this is your second time back, we have a whole lot more in store! You’ll get to hear from guest academics who will share and reflect on their experiences with TBL, as well as learning new ways to facilitate TBL in your classroom.

We created this video for students to illustrate how TBL works:

And here is a quick recap of our last TBL workshop:

The workshop will be facilitated by Associate Professor Panos Vlachopoulos, Senior Learning Designer Matt Robson and guest academics.

Please bring your own device so you can participate as a student during the session. Any questions or queries please contact the Learning and Teaching team at: fmhs.ldt@mq.edu.au

We look forward to seeing you there! Spots are limited (cap of 50) so make sure you get in quick to avoid missing out:
