MUSE Level 3, Conference Room D, 18 Wally’s Walk

Join us at this important event to introduce the Respect. Now. Always. Action Plan (2018-2020) to the Macquarie University community.

The Respect. Now. Always. Action Plan outlines how Macquarie University will seek to prevent and respond to acts of sexual assault and sexual harassment experienced by our staff and students. The actions outlined in the Plan aim to support accountability for action, facilitate long-term cultural and organisational change, and ensure that appropriate and timely actions are taken.

Led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor S Bruce Dowton, the event will outline progress, insights, and discuss plans for the next two years. In addition to the Plan, we recognise that Macquarie will only be successful in facilitating long-term cultural and organisational change if we engage, educate and empower our staff and student community to start open conversations about what change looks like. As such, this event will also include a panel of speakers on sexual harassment chaired by Nicole Gower, Human Resources Director and one of the Executive Sponsors of the Project.

The Respect. Now. Always. team hopes you can join them.
