The Learning and Teaching Podcast Discussion Club is like a book club… but with podcasts!

Instead of reading a book, you’ll listen (in your own time) to a podcast then join us for a one hour Zoom session where we’ll discuss the ideas and issues raised in the episode.

Our next session will be on Wednesday, 2nd June, 2021 at 12 noon via Zoom.

Topic: Curricular innovation and adaptive learning

Why did a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) report name Charles Sturt University among the top four emerging leaders in engineering education? It might have something to do with a new innovative (Netflix style) approach that they took to educating student engineers who are, by the way, referred to as ‘cadets’. Let’s listen to how this new approach is implemented and see if there is anything we can learn/adopt from it for our classrooms.

Listen to the podcast here (Tip: start from Minute 4):  https://cdl.ucf.edu/topcast-s06e66/

Join us over ‘virtual’ lunch to discuss. Anyone is welcome!
