It is recommended that you check in to see how your students are engaging with the Unit and regularly communicate with them to support their online experience.

iLearn Insights

iLearn Insights allows teaching staff to easily visualise student activity in iLearn units and also has an email tool to message students. This will allow teaching staff to provide timely intervention to students who may be struggling with their studies as well as the opportunity provide extra motivation to students who are doing well. The dashboard provides visual representations of student data in relation to access patterns, forum activity and learning activity submission and grading.

What if my students need learning skills support?

The Learning Skills Unit is available to help your students develop their academic skills. They offer online consultations and can be reached by students on the ‘Getting help with your assignment’ section of the Website.

StudyWISE – This iLearn Module is packed with resources to help with academic study and writing. StudyWISE can be found on the iLearn homepage and all students are enrolled to it by default. If you would like to have a look at it, visit the site on iLearn (StudyWISE).

Academic Integrity Module – The AIM iLearn Module helps develop honesty in academic practices and teaches students the key values of the new Macquarie University Academic Integrity Policy. If you would like to have a look at it, visit the site on iLearn (AIM).
