Here are some ideas to guide your progress through the Reflection and Feedback on Practice domain of the Professional Learning and Capability Enhancement (PLaCE) Framework:

  • Share resources and lead initiatives to promote regular reflection and feedback practices across your department/faculty or the university

Develop your leadership in Reflection and Feedback on Practice:

Evaluate: Reflect on and evaluate your leadership of learning and teaching using the 6E distributed leadership framework (TECHE post).
Lead:Encourage and lead staff in your department/faculty to participate in opportunities that promote good practice through peer review and feedback, such as through the Open for Observation program.
Support:Mentor and support others to apply for Advance HE fellowship or learning and teaching awards.
Lead:Use the Reflective Practice Workshop Facilitators Kit to facilitate reflective practice sessions for colleagues.
Guide:Provide guidance to help others use their student feedback and teaching and unit evaluation to enhance practice and demonstrate achievement over time.
Facilitate:Contact the LT& Staff Development Team to request support or facilitation for targeted workshops or guided teaching development projects for your team/department/faculty: professional.learning@mq.edu.au
