Each month interested MQ colleagues from across all disciplines meet to listen to a short extract from a podcast on a key topic relevant for learning and teaching, like increasing student engagement in lectures and tutorials, trying out different assessment methods or teaching techniques. What follows is a lively discussion about the topic and how it applies to our teaching context.

No prior preparation needed—simply come ready to listen, share, and learn together. Whether you’re eager to contribute or prefer to absorb the discussion, you’re welcome. And feel free to bring a friend—the more perspectives, the richer the conversation.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month 12noon – 1pm via Zoom. Our first meeting for 2024 will be Wednesday 6th March.

We’ll kick off 2024 by exploring UDL in action: From theory to practice

Curious about Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and its real-world application? Join our 6th March podcast discussion club for a practical exploration of UDL through a first-year unit case study. Engage in an exchange of ideas, experiences, and aspirations with MQ colleagues regarding UDL implementation.

If you are not already a Podcast Club member, please enter your email below and we will send you the calendar invitation and the Zoom link.
