On Wednesday the 15th of November, the Macquarie University community gathered in the Michael Egan Hall to celebrate the Academic Staff Awards – combining the announcement of Finalists and Winners from the Vice-Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Awards, Research Excellence Awards, and Distinguished Professor recipients for 2023.

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education), Professor Taryn Jones presented the Learning and Teaching Awards, and spoke highly of the commitment to enhancing the education of Macquarie University students:

These awards are the culmination of years of hard work, collaboration and commitment to teaching excellence by our colleagues.

This award recognises staff educational leaders and how their leadership has influenced and enhanced learning and teaching and/or student experience.
