iLearn has just been upgraded

iLearn, our learning management system, was upgraded to a new version on 1st July providing enhancements for students and staff. While key functions remain the same, you will notice a refreshed look and feel with some usability improvements.

We recently posted in TECHE about the customisable dashboard and improved navigation and icons in this post and highlighted other enhancements to Gradebook and Question Bank in this post.

Accessing Gradebook

You’ll notice that the way you access Gradebook has changed. Don’t worry, it still has all the same functionality, you just access it a different way. The drop down below has instructions and screenshots.

Find your way to Gradebook in the new iLearn interface

Follow these steps to navigate to Gradebook.

  1. Navigate to the Grader Report to view students grades by clicking on Grades at the top of the page.

2. Click on the dropdown list next to Grader Report to navigate to the different functionalities of the Gradebook, such as Gradebook setup, Unit grade settings, Preferences: Grader report, Import and Export.

Gradebook Quick Guides

You can visit the Gradebook Quick Guide page for step-by-step instructions on using all the functions within iLearn.

iLearn user guides have been updated

All the User guides where there have been significant changes following the iLearn upgrade have been updated so you can be sure to get the most up to date information and instructions on accessing all the features (new and old) in iLearn.

Updated user guides are now available for Gradebook, Unit Setup and all the Student Guides.

Access the complete list of all iLearn User Guides covering all of the functions in iLearn.
