The Learning and Teaching Podcast Discussion Club is like a book club… but with podcasts!

Instead of reading a book, you’ll listen (in your own time) to a podcast then you’ll join us for a one hour Zoom session on the first Wednesday of the month where we’ll discuss the ideas and issues raised in the episode.

Our next session will be on Wednesday, 5th May, 2021 at 12 noon via Zoom.

Topic: Humanising online teaching

Our next podcast discussion club episode is about Humanising online teaching.

What can be done to make online teaching more personal and human?

The guest speaker of this podcast, Dr. Michelle Pacansky-Brock, an expert on creating relevant and humanised online learning, provides 3 top strategies for humanising online teaching. Listen to this 36-minute podcast (tip: start from Minute 7) to learn why she feels that ‘treating all students the same, is fundamentally a problem’ and what she suggests instead.

Join us over ‘virtual’ lunch to discuss. Anyone is welcome!

Enter your email below and we will send you the calendar invitation and the Zoom link.
