We all know that with group work, equal contribution from each member is not the norm. Usually, each member of the group gets the same grade, which it isn’t necessarily a fair reflection of individual contribution.
Introducing the iLearn Team Evaluation tool
The Team Evaluation tool enhances the grading of group work in iLearn using the Assignment activity. The Team Evaluation tool asks each team member to assess their own (self-assessment) and each other’s contribution (peer assessment) to the group activity, then scales the group grade up or down for each member of the group to reflect their individual level of contribution.
