The PACE team has recently introduced a new iLearn unit PACEWISE. The iLearn unit sits within the Student Support/Skill building/Help Resources section of ilearn along with MAC101, CareerWISE, and StudyWISE.

PACEWISE was developed in response to student feedback that iLearn is one of their preferred engagement channels. The unit provides all the essential information and resources to help undergraduate students prepare for PACE. It is a “one stop shop” for information and outlines how PACE benefits students, how PACE fits into their degree program, how to enrol in and prepare for a PACE unit, and how to maximise the opportunity that a PACE activity provides.

All undergraduate Bachelor degree students have been automatically enrolled in the unit (>19,000 students). All newly enrolling Bachelor degree students will be automatically enrolled in the unit in future. This way, all students will have access to the information – without needing to request it.

All Macquarie staff are welcome to enrol in and check out the PACEWISE unit! It may be particularly useful for staff in a student advising role, such as Unit or Course Convenors. Frontline staff in Student Connect have been trained in PACEWISE.
