  • MQ is now a NESA endorsed HAT course provider! On 27 November, the NSW Education Standards Authority endorsed Macquarie as a provider of Highly Accomplished Teacher (HAT) registered professional development courses. This opens up the exciting potential for hundreds of experienced teachers to progress their accreditation to the next level. Congratulations to the MQ course developers and to the project team for navigating the rigorous journey to successful NESA approval. MQ joins a select number of providers that NESA has endorsed and is planning to build on this success as it expands its partnerships with schools and education agencies.
  • In 2017, Macquarie increased its provision of NSW Education Standards Authority registered professional development courses for teachers to more than 20 Proficient Teacher level courses developed by academics from across the University. Courses emphasise our academic expertise in areas including STEM education, reflection, mentoring support and early childhood.
