The TEQSA Masterclass: Contract cheating detection and deterrence is designed to help academic and professional staff improve their ability to prevent, identify and investigate suspected cases of contract cheating (where students outsource their cheating to a third party).

Comprising 8 online modules, the Masterclass was developed by the higher education regulator in partnership with leading Australian academic integrity experts (including Kane Murdoch from Macquarie University). The self-directed, self-paced course is free to all Macquarie University staff.

In addition to the online component, participants will also be invited to in-person networking workshops to further build skills and share good practice. The (optional) workshops will be held Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 August in Sydney.
