Running tutorials can provide challenges for both teaching assistants (TAs) and staff members. Numerous teaching aspects are involved in making tutorials productive learning events: planning, communicating, delivery, question strategies, activities, and motivation. This workshop will explore both evidence-based and pragmatic strategies to tutorial facilitation and students will share their insights. All staff welcome, particularly, experienced tutors willing to share their practice.
There is pre-reading for this workshop.
