It is common for presentations to be accompanied by visual aids such as a PowerPoint presentation, images, graphs or other stimuli that support your script or presentation notes. The delivery of your visual aids/materials very much depends on the type of message or presentation that you wish to craft.

Whatever you choose to use, the visual aids should add value to your verbal presentation, not detract from it. It should add meaning and reinforce the concepts, emotions or information which you are communicating.

This overview workshop will present a variety of visual communication tools that can help enhance your teaching or research presentation.  The workshop is suitable for professional or academic staff looking to explore the presentation and visual communication tools that enhance or go beyond PowerPoint.  BYO device so that you can practice using the tools that meet your needs.
