Te Puna Aurei LearnFest is an annual symposium organised by Te Puna Ako Centre for Tertiary Teaching and Learning at the University of Waikato. This year, it will be an online event jointly delivered with The University of Newcastle (Australia).

The theme of Te Puna Aurei / LearnFest 2023 is Education without Boundaries – inclusion and accessibility.

In an increasingly demanding environment for students, educators and providers, inclusive access to education is paramount. The symposium will explore the challenges and possibilities of inclusion in contemporary education. Focus areas include: student retention, support, experience or empowerment; equitable access, opportunities and diversity; innovative teaching practices and pedagogies around inclusion; flexible modes of delivery; and physical and virtual learning spaces.
