H5P is a relatively cool new tool, available within iLearn, for creating interactive content. Interactive content is a preferable way to educate and engage your students over simply asking them to read or watch videos.  Interactive content is content that requires your students’ active participation.  In return for their engagement students receive real-time instant feedback.  The research tells us that student academic achievement improves with active learning approaches.

This workshop will provide hands-on practice with creating interactive content.  Please BYO device to this workshop.

The H5P tool gives you access to loads of interactive content types. Imagine creating videos enriched with interactions, drag and drop or multiple choice questions to clarify understanding, image hotspots and more?  Come along to this hands-on workshop, offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in conjunction with the Learning Innovation Hub, and find out how to create your own interactive content in iLearn.  Check out this earlier Teche article that explains this publishing tool in greater detail.
