The 2024 AFR Higher Education Awards (AFR awards) applications are now open and close on Thursday, May 23rd 2024.
Macquarie was a finalist across three categories last year and it is our hope to continue this success in 2024.
As an institution Macquarie can submit one application for each AFR award category:

Expressions of Interest (EOI)
- Expressions of interest (EOIs) are now open, please submit the EOI application form by COB 11 April 2024.
- Applicants need to submit a 300-word summary of their activity as part of the EOI application.
- EOIs are reviewed by the Faculty Deputy Dean (Education and Employability) and/or Associate Dean (Curriculum and Learning).
- Endorsed nominees will be invited to progress to the application phase.

The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, will register and submit all endorsed submissions.
