A few words of thanks from Penny and Agnes…

As we move towards disestablishment, we want to thank all of you for your excellent teaching and exceptional student support. Every day we hear stories of both professional and academic staff who have gone above and beyond their required duties to support individual students in need, mentor junior teaching staff, develop innovative and engaging learning activities, and maintain the high standards of our academic disciplines. This is exactly what universities should be about. Some of you have received well-deserved teaching awards, citations, or accolades for your efforts, and others have been quiet achievers who may not even know that your efforts have been noted. To our students, however, your efforts will always have a strong and important impact.

Together our Faculty has overachieved in many ways. Yet one of our proudest accomplishments should be the many thousands of well-educated teachers, psychologists, cognitive scientists, HDR candidates, linguists, audiologists, translators and interpreters, and more, who we have supported and then sent out into the world.

Congratulations to all – our enthusiastic sessional and early career staff, our exceptional professional staff, our marvellous academics and HoDs and our irreplaceable Dean – for all working together to make this possible.
