Macquarie’s Advance HE (HEA) Fellowship program is now open for new applications in 2019.
HEA Fellowships provide formal recognition of professional practice in higher education teaching and learning support. They are awarded to university teachers and learning professionals who have had their teaching, learning support, and leadership practice, experience, and expertise assessed against the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), which is an international standards framework for teaching and learning support in higher education.
HEA Fellowships are an internationally recognised accreditation of individual commitment to teaching and learning in higher education and are portable and enduring. They form the base for a formal professional recognition scheme that is an expected standard for university educators in the UK, and increasingly, internationally, including for 18 Australasian institutions.
There are four categories of Fellowship – Associate Fellowship, Fellowship, Senior Fellowship and Principal Fellowship – to span the diverse experience and practice of all those who teach, or who support and lead learning in higher education.
At Macquarie, the HEA Fellowship program is open to all academics, and all teaching and learning support staff at all levels and career stages, including fixed-term, casual, and sessional staff.
If you are interested in applying for Fellowship at Macquarie, you MUST attend an information session to formally register your intention to apply – see below for upcoming dates of HEAF information sessions.
