Last session the Library launched a new service; scheduled bibliographic referencing drop-in sessions – “Wrestling With References”. These were well attended and the feedback suggested that this outreach initiative should continue.
In Session 2 the Library is offering this support again, on Tuesday and Thursdays from 14 August to 11 October 2018, except during term break (full list of dates and times here).
If you have an issue or problem with
Endnote, Mendeley or Zotero
drop by to discuss options and solutions. Pass on the word to your undergraduate and postgraduate students if you feel they would benefit from the assistance.
If you’re new to using bibliographic software to support your research, the Librarians can also discuss whether Endnote or Mendeley might suit you best.
Note that these drop-ins aren’t for learning how to use this software. HDR and MRes students and staff can enrol in introductory workshops covering Mendeley and EndNote. The Library also offers instructional referencing Libguides, which provide instructions on how to download the software, help with learning, and are also an avenue for finding solutions to issues.
Drop-in sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays next to the Library Information desk (near the Library entry). Find out more about session times and dates here>
