The Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship program will open for new applications for HEA Fellowships in February 2018.
The UK-based Higher Education Academy provides formal recognition of professional practice in higher education teaching and learning support, through awarding Fellowships to university teachers and higher education professionals who have successfully applied to have their practice assessed against the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), an international standards framework for teaching in higher education.
HEA Fellowships are portable, internationally recognised accreditation of individual commitment to professional practice in teaching and learning in higher education. There are four categories of Fellowship – Associate Fellowship, Fellowship, Senior Fellowship and Principal Fellowship – that span the experience of all those who teach, or who support and lead learning in higher education. The Fellowships are at the core of the HEA’s formal professional recognition scheme that is an expected standard for university educators in the UK, and increasingly, internationally.
At Macquarie, HEA Fellowship application is open to all academics, and all teaching and learning support staff at all levels and career stages, and including fixed-term, casual, and sessional staff.
If you are interested in applying for an HEA Fellowship at Macquarie in 2018, you are invited to attend an introductory information session – see below for dates and registration links.
