About Teche

Our name comes from the University’s motto ‘And Gladly Teche’, a quote from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales

Teche is Macquarie University’s Learning and Teaching Blog, run collaboratively by the Learning Innovation Hub, the five faculties, the Library, various offices and units, and the Academic Senate. We publish news, notices, stories and opinion pieces that we think might be of interest to our learning and teaching community.

The Old Teche site remains available as an archive site.

Teche would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands on which Macquarie University is situated, the Wattamattagal people of the Darug nation, and the Elders, past and present. We acknowledge the ongoing connection that Aboriginal people have to this land and recognise Aboriginal people as the original custodians of this land.

Have you got a story for us?

We are a distributed authorship blog and we welcome all contributions, especially from staff and students of Macquarie. Please email teche@mq.edu.au for more information on how to publish.
