The learning and teaching Podcast Discussion Club is like a book club… but with podcasts!

No homework required! Just come along to the meeting and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll play a selected excerpt from an L&T podcast (3-5 minutes) and will then discuss what we’ve heard.

Here’s the topic for our August meeting:

When we moved online at the start of the pandemic, we may have picked up some bad ‘online learning and teaching’ habits, like badly designed online discussion forums… Do we risk keeping these ‘bad habits’ going forward? Also, how do we promote social presence and interaction intensity (one of the main components of social presence) among our learners?

Come along to this Podcast Discussion club to discuss these and other excerpts from the ‘Higher Ed’s Next Chapter’ podcast.

We’ll play the podcast excerpt during the session, however, if you would like to listen to in advance, this 3-minute recording contains them all along with some key questions that we hope to discuss.

Join us and bring a friend! The more, the merrier!

If you are not already a Podcast Club member, please enter your email below and we will send you the calendar invitation and the Zoom link:
