The learning and teaching podcast Discussion Club is like a book club… but with podcasts!
Except now there’s no homework required – we’re trialling a new format with no preparation needed.
Just come along to the meeting and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll play selected excerpts from a couple of L&T podcasts (3-5 minutes) and will then discuss what we’ve heard.
Our April discussion will focus on:
- a technique of a 2-stage exam to improve long-term memory and retention from this podcast on remembering and forgetting, and
- ‘pick-a-plan’ grading plan from this podcast on grading justice, where students need to do more work if they want a higher grade.
