iLearn Insights is an easy to use reporting tool to more effectively manage the delivery of iLearn units.

iLearn Insights is a reporting tool that can be used to identify students falling behind, track student performance and visualise student engagement. iLearn Insights can also be used to send personalised bulk email to targeted groups of students in your unit.

By the end of this session you will be able to use iLearn Insights to:

  • View unit access details
  • Identify the 5 most accessed activities
  • Identify students who have not logged in to iLearn
  • Visualise forum discussions
  • View a timeline diagram of all activities
  • Activity details
    1. Submissions
    2. Graded
    3. Needs marking
    4. Not submitted
  • Track unit participation using Gradebook*
  • Track unit participation using Attendance plugin (for MUIC)*
  • Use Echo 360 analytics data to analyse:*
    1. Activity Participation (%)
    2. Attendance
    3. Video Views
  • Compare past offerings of a unit to identify trends*

iLearn insights can identify and deliver personalised emails to students who meet the following criteria:

  1. students who have not logged in to iLearn
  2. students who have not submitted an assignment
  3. students who have submitted an assignment and awaiting grading
  4. students who have submitted an assignment and graded
  5. students who have submitted an assignment
  6. students identified using the Unit participation reports using data from gradebook, attendance plugin or Echo 360 analytics
  7. all class participants
