Join Dr Morwenna Kirwan and Dr Kelly Gray in this ‘Connect’ session, where they will:
- Explore best practices for engaging students in interactive tutorial activities using Zoom
- Outline strategies to ensure your online tutorials provide students with an ‘active’ rather than passive learning experience
- Provide examples of how to adapt traditional face-to-face tutorial activities for the Zoom environment
- Role model practical tools, demonstrating how to effectively integrate Zoom and iLearn to engage students
The ideas presented in this session come from experience of teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students in fully online tutorials, in both large (>35) and small group (~10) tutorials in 2020.
