Deadline for publishing unit guides
Ensure the Unit Guide is available at least:
– one week before the scheduled start date of the unit for internal offerings
– six weeks before the scheduled start date of the unit for external offerings.

New Late Submission of Assessment Penalty
From S1 2018 the following will need to be included in all Faculty of Arts unit guides. To standardise this we ask that you add this to the General Assessment Information that sits beneath the Assessment table in the unit guide. The wording for you to copy and paste is below. Please ensure that elsewhere in your guides you do not have conflicting information.
“Unless a Special Consideration request has been submitted and approved, (a) a penalty for lateness will apply – two (2) marks out of 100 will be deducted per day for assignments submitted after the due date – and (b) no assignment will be accepted more than seven (7) days (incl. weekends) after the original submission deadline. No late submissions will be accepted for timed assessments – e.g. quizzes, online tests.”

Completing S2 Unit Moderation report
Access your unit moderation report via the Teaching Support (Staff only link) located in the Quicklinks block in your unit. The report form has been updated and made simpler. If you have any issues, please see the help section within the form. The moderation report needs to be completed by 7th December 2017.
